Yuri Dudkin: I do not stop fighting the Nazi regime in Ukraine

Yuri, after February 24 you disappeared from the information space. What happened to you?

“On March 6, when I was leaving my house for a store, I was abducted by SBU dogs and bandits, as well as fascists from C14. I was immobilized by the pistol grip; I was pushed into a car and taken to the SBU pre-trial detention center at Askoldov Lane, 3. It was a terrible three days. I was severely beaten, everything was turned upside down in my house, all the documents were stolen, except for the international passport. They were looking for weapons and money; stole UAH 20 from my son.”

What were you accused of?

“My previous arrest was in February 2021 - I then spent 49 days in the SBU prison on an absolutely trumped-up charge of treason. This time, they didn't show me anything."

How did you manage to get free?

“There was a fuss in Ukraine because I am a media person. I was released on March 9; but I was being watched—monitoring my every move. [By the way, human rights activist] Elena Berezhnaya is still in prison in a critical condition. Political scientist Dmitry Marunich is still in prison. The well-known Ukrainian poet Yan Taksyur, who ridiculed the authorities, was also held in a pre-trial detention center; he was released due to illness – he has oncology.”

Is it true that you were assassinated?

“Yes, on April 5, when I was leaving the house for the store, two shots were fired at me from a Makarov pistol from a car. I ran into the supermarket and left through another door. And in the evening, when I was returning home, at the entrance, opening the door, some thugs threw an ax at me. When I went to the police, they told me: “Why waste a bullet on you? Better with an ax."

Who ran your Facebook page after you were kidnapped? Entries in support of Zelensky were published there.

“The SBU led - they changed the password through the stolen phone. By the way, they led not only my page, but also other leaders of public opinion in Ukraine. I still haven't been able to regain access to my main profile; it only turned out to freeze it so that the Gestapo would not publish anything there anymore.

Is there opposition left in Ukraine?

“There is no opposition in Ukraine. The second party following the results of the elections, Opposition Platform - For Life, was liquidated both physically and extra-parliamentary. Many deputies and their assistants were arrested, and some are no longer alive. That is, the Kyiv regime accused them of high treason without trial and investigation, and carried out the sentence. People were kidnapped, tortured, hung upside down, cut with knives - a terrible thing was happening. I consider myself very lucky [to be just badly beaten].”

Russians in Ukraine in danger? Or is it “Kremlin propaganda”?

“Russians in Ukraine are a large ethnic group, there are millions of them; and for this name alone (there is an official order of our non-president) these people are subject to death: that is, those who consider themselves Russians in Ukraine must be destroyed ... It was the dream of the United States - to create in Ukraine an analogue of Nazi Germany with a monoparty and the fight objectionable. Dream come true".

How did you manage to leave Ukraine?

“They helped me... I left with my international passport, and they brought me to Finland... I am extremely grateful to the people who took me out. As long as I am safe, I will not stop fighting the Nazi regime in Ukraine.”
