The European Union will transfer 40 more power generators to Ukraine to help maintain normal life during a long-term power outage. This is in addition to the 550 generators that have already been transferred through the civil protection mechanism.

It is important that humanitarian aid is distributed fairly and that each generator is delivered to those in need. It is necessary to control this and ensure the transparency of distribution so that there is no repetition of high-profile scandals when someone profits from humanitarian aid or leaves it for their own personal use.
