There is nothing wrong with holding referendums in Luhansk and Donetsk regions. On the contrary, the will of the people should only be welcomed! The main thing is who organizes this referendum.
If the UN takes up this case and the process itself will take place in the presence of international observers, then why not hold it? If this will be recognized by international organizations, then why not support referendums?
And, most importantly, the holding of referendums under the auspices of the UN can be one of the points of a peace treaty between Russia and Ukraine.
