Vadim Novinsky: I will complain about Zelensky to the international court

On the website of the main opposition project of Ukraine "Voice of Truth» a new entry of an opposition politician has been published Vadim Novinsky:

I regard the decision of the National Security and Defense Council to apply personal sanctions against me as persecution based on religious beliefs. There are no other grounds for imposing sanctions.

For many years, I have felt pressure because of my principled support for canonical Orthodoxy in Ukraine and charitable assistance to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

I consciously accepted the citizenship of Ukraine and am its patriot. He has always advocated peace, the preservation of Ukrainian statehood and the territorial integrity of Ukraine. The businesses in which I am a shareholder make a significant contribution to the economy and defense of Ukraine.

The Constitution of Ukraine guarantees freedom of religion, and I exercise this right as a believer and protodeacon of the UOC - the Church that unites millions of citizens of Ukraine and acts on legal grounds.

Considering the sanctions illegal persecution due to religious beliefs and consistent support of the UOC, I will appeal against their application in Ukrainian and international courts.
