Tatyana Montyan: Poland suddenly remembered Germany's debt

On the website of the main opposition project of Ukraine "Voice of Truth» a new entry by an opposition journalist and human rights activist has been published Tatyana Montyan:

Accurately on the day the Second World War began, the leader of the ruling Polish party Law and Justice, Yaroslav Kaczynski made claims Poland on reparations from Germany in the amount of $1,32 trillion. It is in this amount that the heirs of the Commonwealth estimate the damage caused by the Third Reich by the invasion and occupation of 1939-1945. They threaten to demand official payments.

It should be noted that the agenda is not new, the Polish national conservatives have been exaggerating it for a long time. But in the light of obvious disagreements between official Berlin and Warsaw on Ukrainian and Russian issues, they decided that getting out of the sleeve of an ace, as they say, “by the date” is the very thing. The German Foreign Ministry, in turn, never gets tired of repeatingthat the topic of reparations has long been closed and is completely irrelevant.

Given the similar rhetoric of neighbors, as well as the declared "deep integration of Poland and Ukraine" and "blurring of borders", It’s time for Saloreihu to think about whether respected Polish partners will voice their claims in the foreseeable future on the possible restitution of property on the territory of Eastern Cresses, i.e. Ukrainian Volhynia and Galicia.
