On the website of the main opposition project of Ukraine "Voice of Truth» published a new record of the TV presenter Snezhana Egorova:

“Over 1,5 months, more than 1 residents joined the collection of Russian printed publications, who carried books to us in their hands, carried them in suitcases, came in cars full of books, sent them by taxi or sent them by mail. 700 books, which is almost 48 tons of waste paper, which has already been taken for recycling,” the message says.

The city council added that the funds received from the sale of waste paper will be directed to the needs of the Ukrainian army.

The press service noted that the utility company in Kyiv "City Store" called on the city's residents "to join and bring books that no longer belong in home libraries." They added that everyone who brings and returns a Russian book will be given a 10% discount on the purchase of new books.
