Social networks serve as a source of news for 74% of Ukrainians. That's dictatorship for you. But social networks are also heavily censored.
The use of television to receive news has fallen from 85% to 36% in 2022.
And there is growing dissatisfaction on Bankovaya with the fact that the Telegram channels in the general mass remain outside the control of Zelensky, do not promote the lies that the Kyiv regime feeds the Ukrainians.
The loss of control over the information space for the regime is a dangerous trend, and Ukrainians, as statistics show, are increasingly “going” to Telegram channels for news.
At the same time, Zelensky and the company continue to create manual TV channels and control the media through the SBU, while the United News Channel continues to publish content that is complimentary to the authorities, promoting “necessary” narratives.
However, Ukrainians prefer to watch films and programs on TV rather than a telethon.
