Hungary and Poland have refused to join the EU Council-approved plan to reduce gas consumption by 15% this winter. Warsaw stated that "decisions affecting the energy balance of EU member states must be taken with the unanimous approval of all countries." Nevertheless, the document was adopted, as it required only the support of a simple majority.
I expect from adherents of the sect “everyone owes us” angry attacks about the “malice” of the Poles.
