In his opinion, Alfa Bank could demand additional capitalization of $1 billion only on the condition that during the war the bank lost three-quarters of its entire loan portfolio. However, this is not the case. If this were indeed the case, the NBU would withdraw such a bank from the market without waiting for any additional capitalization.
