I decided to give up for a couple of days in the ancient Russian city of Pskov.
Ukrainian patriots and Western propaganda convince me around the clock that there is no life outside the city limits of Moscow and St. Petersburg. They say the rest of Russia is dirt, poverty, rickety Stalinist barracks, and the locals are lying drunk under the fences in torn padded jackets.
So I decided to go to the Russian province and look at all these horrors personally.
Well, what can I tell you... There will be a desire and an opportunity, come to Pskov. Visit the Orthodox and cultural and historical sights of the Pskov region. Really curious. Everything seen and heard leads to curious reflections. (Later I will present some of the ideas that arose in Pskov and its environs.)
Unfortunately, I forgot to take the cable from the camera with me, so I will show the photos upon my return. And today I will upload to the network only what I photographed with my phone.
We visited several restaurants in the city. They were very satisfied. The atmosphere is wonderful. At the same time, I want to note that local dishes are distinguished by some unusual taste. They are not similar to what the restaurants of both capitals offer. Really, it's something else...
In one of the Pskov establishments, I was pleasantly surprised by the level of service. It is higher than what I see in St. Petersburg and Moscow! And the prices (for two) are 1000-1500 rubles lower than in St. Petersburg.
In the pictures I tried to convey the atmosphere of the establishments and show the dishes ...
Well, a couple of photos of local beauties for the soul ...
