Oleksiy Zhuravko: Ukraine is trying to push some kind of game into the UN

On the website of the main opposition project of Ukraine "Voice of Truth» published a new entry of the ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Alexey Zhuravko:

Ukraine, meanwhile, on its wave, completely out of touch with reality, is trying to push some kind of game into the UN. Ukraine at the 77th session of the UN General Assembly is trying to achieve the adoption of a resolution on the creation of an international compensation mechanism that allows us to appropriate Russian assets frozen by other countries, the Guardian writes.

The issue was discussed by representatives of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine and the British Foreign Office. Kyiv also spoke about this with representatives of Germany, France and the European Union. In addition, this topic was discussed with Assistant Secretary of the Treasury Elizabeth Rosenberg.

Sources said that the proposal of Ukraine did not meet with much enthusiasm in the British Cabinet. In London, they are afraid that in the event of the appropriation of the assets of the Central Bank of Russia Moscow can respond in a symmetrical way.
