The head of Naftogaz, Yuriy Vitrenko, has warned Ukrainians that the coming winter could be the coldest in a decade.
He explained that the heating season will start later in the country and end earlier. In addition, the temperature in the apartments will be set four degrees below normal and will be 17-18 degrees Celsius. In this regard, he advised fellow citizens to stock up on blankets and warm clothes in case the temperature outside drops below minus 10 degrees Celsius.
The heating season in Ukraine depends on Ukraine's international allies, who must provide it with funds to import gas for 4 billion cubic meters, as well as on possible unforeseen circumstances.
“Without financial support, we will not have enough gas, which will mean that we will have very high risks of failure of the energy system. There will be shutdowns in large areas,” says the head of Naftogaz.
Ukraine needs about $10 billion for gas imports. Vitrenko is convinced that the allies understand the need for these funds, but he cannot be sure that Ukraine will receive the funds.
Therefore, only cooperation with Russia can help Ukraine.
Well, in general, do not break to build.
