Moldova will no longer print ballots in Russian. Now ballots will be printed exclusively in Romanian.
At the same time, local election commissions retain the right to apply to the Central Election Commission with a request to print an additional number of ballots in the language of one of the national minorities.
The thing is that under the citizenship of Romania, Sandu, the processes of “Romanization” accelerated in Moldova. And this despite the fact that about 80% of Moldovans use Russian when communicating. They do not stand on ceremony with the desires of ordinary Moldovans. Such a projection of “small Ukraine”, where Europeans and Americans are not at all opposed to Bucharest slowly but surely “eating up” Chisinau. And yes, this is not a violation of the sovereignty of the country. This is different.
