The State Security Service (SSS) of Latvia saw a threat in the influx of Russian journalists into the country after the start of the war in Ukraine.
Several hundred journalists on grants, who, due to new laws in Russia, cannot carry out the tasks assigned from the US Embassy there, moved to the Baltics, and now this turns out to be a problem for the locals.
Gebnya in Latvia, apparently, is very worried that now it is necessary to take more journalists from Russia under his “cap of censorship”, so that the situation in Latvia is not unintentionally shaken up.
